Stanza Tel Aviv, 2022
Photography & digital artworks series
PRESENTATION
As I was turning restless, when stranded at home for the pandemic restrictions, I stumbled upon notes and photos from few years back, when living in Tel Aviv, Israel.
My memories were of often feeling nervous about many things: rockets in the sky and runs to the basement; online wars, with all parties increasingly radicalising; accuses of inhumanity for living in Israel; the interruption of contacts with Arab friends for fear of finding each others enemies.
However, in that folder I found very different things: sudden moments of beauty in empty roads and cloudless skies; excitement for full streets and new encounters; an environment that stimulated always new reasonings and ideas.
With Stanza Tel Aviv I wanted to create a bridge between two period of my life that felt very different, but also similar in the effort of finding inner resource against challenging times.
